WHY PILATES? IT’S A LONG STORY

It goes like this: a lean strong body, improved posture, increased flexibility and a welcomed boost in mood and energy. The end.

“This program can be tailored to a spectrum of fitness goals, ages and abilities. From professional athletes to actively aging octogenarians. You don't have to be an 18-year old dancer or member of Cirque du Soleil."

Good to know

ever heard of joseph pilates?

Joseph Pilates invented the practice during WWI to help rehabilitate injured soldiers and originally called his method 'contrology' because, you guessed it, it's all about concentration, control, and precision.

pilates is for everyone

Pilates exercises can be modified for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to athletes. It's also suitable for different ages and physical conditions. We're here to help, all you've got to do is show up.

yoga versus pilates

Yoga and Pilates differ in their origins and goals. Yoga, originating in ancient India, includes physical postures, breath control, and spirituality. Pilates, created during WWI by Joseph Pilates, focuses on fitness and core strength. Yoga has a spiritual dimension, while Pilates is more exercise-focused.
