Do I pay anything to begin my membership?

Through Life Time, your Renew Active membership would be at $0 cost to you. Services such as the LifeSpa, LifeCafe, personal training, Signature Group Training, Reformer Pilates, or other personalized services will be additional costs and separate from your Standard Membership through your provider. If at any time your eligibility ends with Renew Active, Life Time will never switch your membership to a dues-paying membership without your consent.

Do I have to visit Life Time a specific number of times for my membership cost to be covered?

You are not required to visit Life Time a specific amount of times for your monthly membership cost to be covered. However, we’d love to see you at the club as often as possible! With our new ARORA programming, we are confident you will fill your social, health and wellness cup with every visit! If your membership goes unused for 18 months, your membership may be subject to termination. However, you can re-enroll in club with continued proof of eligibility.

Are there specific “Silver Sneakers Classes” at Life Time?

We do offer classes and programming customized for this group. These classes are a part of our new program at Life Time, ARORA. ARORA is a collection of physical, social and educational activities offered to Life Time members designed to improve strength, mobility, nutrition and social interaction. While we are not limiting access to a specific age group (all are welcomed!), this program was designed specifically with the 55+ community in mind.  ARORA features physical activities including Studio Classes, an initial session with a trainer, open play pickleball, and much more. ARORA also features social activities such as coffee club, game clubs and ARORA-specific mixers (coming soon). The program also includes educational activities such as workshops on a variety of topics like the fitness floor, nutrition, Pilates, etc. You can learn more about ARORA and classes here.

Are your trainers certified in Silver Sneakers?

Life Time Personal Trainers are nationally certified and customize programs based on a client’s goals, preferences, and fitness level. Many trainers also have a degree in Kinesiology or Sports Medicine as well as seek additional certifications that support healthy and active aging. Additionally, we’ve hand-selected a group of trainers who are certified to train active, older adults. These trainers have extensive knowledge in common injuries, surgeries, medications and more — all to customize the personal training experience.

How do the credits work?

Dependent on your health insurance plan, your provider allots a certain amount of FitOn credits to your account each month. You will then pend your credits to Life Time on the FitOn website. You have the option to pend monthly or set to auto-pend each month to Life Time. Once those credits are pended to Life Time, you will receive a FitOn confirmation ID, at which time you can bring your confirmation ID to the front desk to complete your membership at Life Time.

How do I know how many credits I have?

You will be able to verify your credits through your FitOn account on the FitOn website. Please contact FitOn if you have additional questions on your credits.

What is the monetary value that I need to pend towards utilizing Life Time? Is it location specific?

My club is listed as “currently at capacity for Limited Access Memberships” and are not accepting new enrollments. Why is this and what does the waitlist process entail?

Based on the popularity of this program and continuous evaluation of member usage, some Life Time locations are currently at capacity for Limited Access Memberships (including Standard Medicare membership types) and are not accepting new enrollments. To add yourself to our waitlist, please visit your preferred location and speak with a member of our Concierge team. We will contact individuals on the waitlist when a membership spot becomes available.

If my club is on a waitlist, what options do I have now?

If your preferred location is on a Limited Access Membership waitlist, there are a couple of options to move forward:

This will include access to the club during all hours the club is open, Signature Membership benefits and still provides a substantial discount off the regular Signature Membership rate.

1.    Enroll under the Signature Upgrade Medicare membership option.

2.    Visit your preferred location and speak with a member of our Concierge team to add yourself to the waitlist. We will contact individuals on the waitlist when a membership spot becomes available.
