The Kids Academy hours vary by location.

Children can receive up to 2.5 hours of child care for kids ages 3 months and up. Infants can receive up to 2 hours while parents enjoy the club (child care time allotment varies by club).

Our Kid’s Academy is divided by age groups to ensure we are meeting the correct child to caretaker ratios. We strive to not only meet but exceed our requirements to ensure the health and safety of all our children!

Our Kids Academy is offered for junior members 3m-11 years old. For children 3-11 years old, Kids Academy classes are offered every hour. Additionally, the Kids Academy may offer tween classes for 9-13 years. Kids Academy progressive learning classes, Kids Studio Classes within their time allotted in the Kids Academy.  

All of our Kids Academy team members are highly qualified, background checked and First Aid/CPR certified to provide a fun, enriching and safe environment for children.

To enroll your child in school break or summer camps at Life Time, you must be a member and your child(ren) must be active juniors on the membership. Upon adding or reactivating your child on your membership, Kids Camp registration will be available immediately on the Life Time website. Registration will be available on your Life Time Digital app the following day.

You may choose to Pay Now or Pay Later at the time of registration. The Pay Later payment option is: Available for all camps regardless of duration of camp. Available for camps that start 21 days into the future at the time of registration Ex: Someone wishing to register for camp during the week of July 18th would need to register and select Pay Later on or before July 2nd Automatically paid via your dues payment account two weeks prior to the first day of camp with all fees drafted on the Monday of the corresponding week. Ex: Someone registering for camp that starts the week of July 18th will be drafted for that week of camp on July 4th The use of Pay Later for camp payment requires an active dues payment account. Primary members desiring a Partner member to be able to utilize the dues payment account to Pay Later for camps can designate the Partner member to be an authorized user of the account by logging into myLT and visiting the Members on Account page.

For installment plans or paid-in-full:

Cancellations received 21 days or more before the first day of camp will receive a full refund.

Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to the first day of the camp will forfeit any paid camp fees.

For installment plans, we will cancel your registration if your payment is not received.

All cancellation requests must be submitted via the camp change form, or in writing or via email to the Kids Learder or Member Concierge Manager.

If a camp or program is not able to operate due to directives provided by local, state, or the federal government, you will receive a full refund for all camp fees paid, returned to the original form of payment.

With so many choices, every day will be unique for your child. Plus, curbside drop off and pick up make it easy for you.

Sports, Fitness and Gym Games Campers will move and groove with a wide variety of energy-pumping gym activities.

Activity Challenges Develop teamwork and problem-solving skills with other campers.

S.T.E.A.M. Activities Science, math and art activities with amazing experiments and unpredictable results.

Community-Building and Character Development Build friendships and learning leadership skills with counselors and campmates.

Specialized Elective Options A weekly opportunity to explore a variety of interests from sports training and yoga to arts and crafts.

Swimming Campers will participate in swim lessons or swim team occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Mondays and Wednesdays campers will have free swim time for games and fun with friends.

Friday Field Trips Fridays are extra fun! Engaging on-site and off-site field trips vary by location and week.

Nutritious Snacks We provide healthy snacks for your camper. Lunch is available for an additional fee.

Being a Kids Camp team member entails a comprehensive screening and interview process, background check, and CPR and First Aid training. Additionally, our camp staff participates in behavior management and positive guidance training activities. Once certified, ongoing evaluations help ensure your child(ren) are being supervised and supported by trained and educated counselors to help ensure an overall superior and safe camp experience.

Camp programming runs from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Before care (7 a.m.–9 a.m.) and aftercare (4p.m.–6 p.m.) are included in the cost of camp and require registration.

Campers can either bring a lunch from home or can purchase lunch through our LifeCafe. LifeCafe lunch pricing is varies depending on selection and location.

We will do everything in our power to honor requests to keep children together if they are taking part in the same camp. Based on ratio needs and age restrictions this may not always be possible.

Camp pricing is per child and there is not a multi-child discount.

If your child is a registered for summer camp on a Friday, they will be participating in a field trip day. Field trips may be on or off site (campers are transported to off-site field trips by licensed transportation) and subject to change. Field trip destinations can be found within the camp registration page for each individual week. Field trips are included in your camp fee.

We love planning parties, so you can just pick your package, bring the kids and enjoy the fun! We’ll take care of the rest.

We have more than 36 annual kids’ events! Each month, we offer two themed events, often based on a holiday or seasonal theme, for kids of any age, plus Tween Takeovers for 8- to 13-year-olds. Climb Nights also may be offered at club locations with a rockwall.

With a Junior Membership, kids get to participate in many of these three-hour-long sessions for no additional charge. During these events parents can feel free to leave the club if they want — while the kids stay with the Kids Academy team. Junior members have a blast playing, swimming (in some sessions), eating healthy snacks, and participating in structured lesson plans.

Parents' Night Out is offered complementary with an active junior membership for kids ages 4-13 (age ranges may vary by club). Enjoy a night to yourself up to 3 hours while your child has a blast with us! Parents' Night Out is offered on weekends and features an exciting theme. Children must be fully potty trained to attend event.

At a time where 70% of kids stop playing sports by the age of 13, this is a great way to get kids engaged in a new, lifelong sport in a fun way. Kids will gain pickleball and life skills through round-robin games every week with a focus on reinforcing game-specific skills as well as life lessons in a safe environment.

From age 3 through college, every child, teen or young adult can learn and improve their tennis game with a progressive system of instruction and coaching. Tennis access varies by location.

Yes, a membership for an adult and child enrolling in programs is a requirement. More specifically - If the child is under the age of 12 years old, a parent or legal guardian is required to share the membership with the child. If the child is 12 years of age or older, they are eligible to hold a membership on their own, with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

The preeminent junior tennis program in the nation, Life Time’s SMART tennis matches your child’s development with appropriately sized balls, racquets and court sizes. Using world-class teaching techniques, SMART allows the sport of tennis to grow with your child. Kids start playing with other kids right away, learning as they go. Check with your club for SMART session timing.

Our Rock Wall specific club locations offer Kids Climb throughout the week! Under the guidance of a highly trained instructor, kids will learn the basic fundamentals and skills around rock climbing. Kids must be at least 5 years of age to participate. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your child’s class to avoid their spot being forfeited. Classes and Activities are subject to change. The legal parent or guardian must complete a climbing waiver prior to the child climbing.
