If a child age 12 and under has passed our 25:10 swim test, their parent does not need to
be in the water with them during Family Swim. The parent simply needs
to remain in the pool area with their child.
An adult must accompany children ages 12-15 when lifeguards are not on duty.
In Minnesota, children ages 12-17 may swim only when a lifeguard is on duty.
In Pennsylvania, an adult must accompany children under the age of 16 when lifeguards are not on duty.
In New Jersey, children under 12 may only swim during Open or Family Swim hours and children 12-15 may only swim when a lifeguard is on duty.
